How to Achieve IAST Individual Membership

IAST Member status is granted at no additional cost to eligible subscribers of the Façade Intelligence (FI) Professional Membership Plan who meet the IAST Membership Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Competence Standards: Successfully passed the IAST Applied Façade Engineering Examination (AFE) or obtained a Level 5 Diploma in  Façade Design and Engineering Qualification through IAST.

  2. Commitment to Professional Development: To retain IAST Member status, individuals must complete a minimum of 12 hours of structured Continuing Professional Development (CPD) annually. The FI Professional Membership Plan offers over 30 hours of structured CPD each year, enabling members to fulfil this requirement without incurring extra costs.

How to achieve IAST Corporate Membership

The IAST Corporate Member status is granted at no additional cost to eligible IAST Corporate Supporters. IAST Corporate Membership Eligibility Criteria:

1. Align with IAST's Values and Mission: This ensures that all Corporate Members share a commitment to advancing architectural science and technology in line with IAST's objectives.

2. Demonstrate Commitment to Professional Development: Requiring a minimum of five employees to have successfully passed the IAST AFE or FDE Examinations within the past five years shows that the company invests in the professional growth of its staff and strives to identify the areas for development and enhancing the skill set of the workforce.

3. Maintain an active IAST Supporter Subscription: Being an IAST Corporate Supporter subscriber indicates ongoing support and engagement with IAST's initiatives and programmes.

These criteria ensure that the IAST Corporate Members are actively involved in the industry, support professional excellence, and are committed to the advancement of architectural science and technology.
