This seminar explores a groundbreaking brick façade project delivered in one of the most constrained urban environments imaginable—the narrow streets of central London. With no space for scaffolding, mast climbers, or on-site material storage, traditional masonry and rainscreen brick slip systems were simply not viable. Instead, the project adopted a fully prefabricated precast concrete façade with brick slips cast directly into the panels. The seminar explains how this system enabled rapid installation without permanent external access, while delivering high levels of precision, architectural flexibility, and buildability.
